Question 1 : A horse is tied to a 20 metre long rope. The horse wants to get some water that is 30 metres away. The horse gets the water easily. Can you tell how?


Question 2 : Four men painted a water tower from 9 to 5 each day over a period of several days. Though the tower stood near a busy street and there was nothing obstructing it from public view, the workers were not seen by passersby. Why?

Question 5 : Two trains, 200 kilometres apart, are moving towards each other, each going at a speed of 50 kmph. A crazy fly, starting on the front end on one of the trains flies back and forth between them at the rate of 75 kmph. It touches one train returns to the other and flies back, doing this continuously till the trains collide, crushing the insect. What is the total distance the fly travelled before it got crushed? The answer can be worked out in a jiffy, without using pen and paper.
